What this does for you is provide you with a design that will not be designed by someone who is not familiar of the potential costs of what they are designing.
Many architects design beautiful landscapes but have no idea as to what these elements from an installation standpoint would cost. Because we are familiar with the installation process we can design a landscape that is both beautiful with installation costs in mind.
Getting Started with your Design-Landscape:
Typically an enquirer to a landscape installation starts with a call to our office.
To price out a landscape installation, a scaled landscape design that shows all of the scaled elements that are to go into your yard to complete the installation. These include; paintings, retaining walls (rock or block), drainage work, irrigation systems, pathways, waterfalls, ponds, low volt lighting and the list goes on and on.
The reason that you need a well thought out scaled landscape plan is:
- Assurance of getting what you want.
- Design specifically for your site and exposure.
- Sun and shade needs for overall plant health and homeowner comfort.
- Plan shows you exactly what you are getting for you installation cost.
Dave and Dennis provide the design service for you.
Dennis has been with Good Earth for over 16 years. Dennis does the designs the old fashioned way- by hand drawing them.
Dave has been with Good Earth for over 8 years. Dave produces the designs with autocad which is a computer generated design.
Either one of these design process produce a high quality design.
Dave or Dennis will visit with you at your site and get to know your needs and expectations for you landscape design. Once we get a feel for how involved and/ or elaborate your yard design will be, at that point we will be able to price out your design.
We will meet with you with a rough draft of your site with the design elements keeping in mind your thoughts and desires from our initial site visit. This meeting will typically involve changes to the rough draft. After these changes, a final plan will be produced for you. Once you have paid for this design the next step would be for Vaughn, the owner, to price the installation costs. Once a contract has been approved and signed by the homeowner the next step is to schedule the installation.
